While this website is intended to provide information to the general public about the hypnosis and hypnotherapy services offered by the Louisville Hypnosis Academy, the purpose of this page is to provide information to medical and mental health professionals who will be referring patients to us for hypnotherapy.
The Louisville Hypnosis Academy* is currently accepting referrals from medical and mental health professionals. Most of our services do no require a written referral, however; if the referral involves a diagnosed illness, disease, or injury, we do require a written referral along with the associated diagnostic code(s).
Our office is busy and it often takes from one to three weeks to secure an appointment with a Certified Hypnotherapist; however, if you deem your patient’s need to be urgent, please let us know and we will do everything possible to arrange an appointment as quickly as possible. Emergency appointments can usually be secured within 24 hours (although this timeframe cannot be guaranteed).
Written referrals may be given to your patient, faxed to us directly, or transmitted to us by email.
