How can hypnosis help me lose weight?
Hypnosis is a proven way to lose pounds and allow you to maintain a healthy weight . Your Louisville Hypnosis Academy Certified Hypnotherapist will take the time to learn about you and how you relate to food and any other issues that contribute to your weight problem.
He or she will then formulate an individualized plan or strategy. At the Louisville Hypnosis Academy, we do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach. Everyone is different and everyone has different likes and dislikes that need to be considered in an effective weight loss program.

Who will hypnotize me?
Your Certified Hypnotherapist is a highly trained and qualified professional who has undergone rigorous training in all aspects of hypnotherapy and Louisville Hypnosis Academy’s weight loss program.
Your Certified Hypnotherapist has also undergone extensive professional training and achieved additional certification in the advanced and highly effective hypnotherapy system knowns as 5-PATH®.
Your Certified Hypnotherapist is bound by a strict professional code of ethics. He or she is a professional who will maintain the highest ethical standards, treat you with respect, and maintain confidentiality as required by law.
Here is how it works.
There are two main factors that contribute to weight gain:
1. Weight problems are often related to bad habits such as eating too much, or eating the wrong kind of foods. These bad habits could have been picked up during your childhood, or teenage years, or at other times, such as when you were in college, or the military, or when a woman was pregnant. These bad habits can be difficult (almost impossible) to break on your own. Hypnosis makes it much easier.
2. Weight problems are often associated with emotions. For example, many people overeat when they are bored, stressed, or sad. While many of our clients know there is a link between their weight problem and their emotions, others don’t even realize it.
