What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state of relaxed focus. Hypnosis is perfectly natural and safe. When you drift off to sleep, you briefly pass through a natural state of hypnosis, and you do the same thing in the morning when we wake up. It’s that fuzzy mental place when you are neither fully awake nor fully asleep. You are also in a hypnotic state when we are driving on an open highway and you suddenly “awake” and wonder how much time has passed and how you have managed not to have an accident. Being engrossed in a TV show, listening to music, or reading an article or book can also produce hypnosis.
Your Louisville Hypnosis Academy Certified Hypnotherapist will assist you in learning how to achieve this state, and she or he will guide you to a level of hypnosis where your subconscious mind is receptive to suggestions. These suggestions will enable you to use the power of your own mind make the changes in your life that you desire.
