IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PRPOSPECTIVE CLIENTS
We do our very best to ensure that you are provided with the highest quality hypnotherapy services available. We do this by constantly improving our techniques and keeping up with the latest developments in the field of hypnosis. The Certified Hypnotherapist that will be working with you is a member of the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists, the National Guild Hypnotists, and the 5-PATH® International Association of Hypnosis Professionals. These organizations represent the best of the best in the field of hypnotherapy. The Louisville Hypnosis Academy is also an Accredited Member of the Better Business Bureau.
At the beginning of your first session, your Certified Hypnotherapist will explain how hypnosis works, and why it is far better than trying to use will power alone to solve personal problems and make life changing improvements. If you have questions, your Certified Hypnotherapist will also be happy to discuss them with you.
There is some variation in the length of sessions. A normal session will last approximately 60 minutes; however, the first session lasts longer because your Certified Hypnotherapist will be getting to know you and, as noted above, will be explaining how hypnosis works and answer your questions.
Hypnosis and hypnotherapy is a very powerful process that has helped thousands of people around the world make changes in their lives. However, hypnosis cannot make you do anything. Hypnosis requires your full participation and cooperation For example, no one, not even the very best hypnotherapist, can make you lose weight, or make you stop smoking, or make you stop abusing alcohol if you really don’t want to. Nor could any hypnotherapist accurately predict how many sessions it will take to obtain positive and long term results. Many people (but not everyone) begin to experience positive benefits following the very first session (although many other do not experience positive results until the end of a multi-session program). Most people complete the program in five to eight sessions with five sessions being the most common. Ultimately, each individual is responsible for the changes that occur as a result of hypnotherapy.
While most of our clients experience outstanding positive results, we cannot guarantee any specific outcome. Of course, this is true in any situation where a professional is trying to help you. For example, physicians cannot guarantee that you will get well, teachers cannot guarantee that you will learn, and lawyers cannot guarantee that you will win your case. What we can guarantee is that your Certified Hypnotherapist will do his or her very best to help you experience the positive outcome that you are seeking.
Health insurance does not normally cover hypnotherapy services, you will be paying for these services personally. Services may be paid with cash, personal check, or major credit or debit cards. The Louisville Hypnosis Academy will accept Flexible Spending Account credit cards for those clients who have and wish to use such cards; however, the Louisville Hypnosis Academy does not guarantee that such payments will be approved. In all cases, each client (or parent or guardian, if applicable) is responsible for payment of the agreed upon fees.
Before your first session, you will be asked to give your unqualified consent to be hypnotized and state that you have provided the Louisville Hypnosis Academy and/or the Certified Hypnotherapist that you will be seeing with complete and truthful information (both written and verbal) including complete and accurate personal and medical information. You will also sign a document releasing the Louisville Hypnosis Academy and/or your Certified Hypnotherapist from any and all liability associated with my participation in hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
The practice of hypnosis and hypnotherapy, like the other healing arts, is not an exact science; therefore, results are not guaranteed, and refunds are not given for services rendered or for multiple session program packages purchased (whether completed or not).
